Day-by-day — landing to takeoff

  • Day 1

Land Islamabad (ISB) · Drive to Raikot Bridge

    Meals: — / L* / D Overnight: Raikot / Chilas corridor hotel or guesthouse

Your trip starts at ISB; the motorway-to-KKH corridor is a long road day — we pace meals and rest stops.

    • Landing: Meet-and-greet at Islamabad International (ISB); load private vehicle.
    • Drive: Islamabad → Raikot Bridge corridor (typically 8–11 hrs with meal and photo stops — timing depends on traffic and weather).
    • Afternoon / evening: Arrive near Raikot; hotel/guesthouse check-in; briefing on tomorrow’s jeep track and hike.
    • Evening: Dinner; pack daypack for Tato → Fairy Meadows (layers, water, rain shell); early night.
  • Day 2

Jeep Raikot → Tato · Hike to Fairy Meadows

    Meals: B / L / D Overnight: Fairy Meadows cabin / camp lodge
    • Morning: Transfer to jeep stand; 4x4 up the Raikot–Tato track (approx. 1.5–2.5 hrs). Dusty, steep, exposed — thrilling, not for the faint-hearted.
    • Jeep safety: Experienced local drivers only; seatbelts/hold points as available; we do not overload vehicles; weather or landslide can pause the track — we wait or adjust.
    • Hike: Tato → Fairy Meadows on foot (approx. 2.5–4 hrs at a steady pace; ~5–6 km with ascent through pines).
    • Afternoon: Cabin check-in; late-light Nanga Parbat Diamer-face views from the meadows.
    • Evening: Hot meal at cabin; stargazing if clear; rest for optional Beyal tomorrow.
  • Day 3

Meadows · sunrise · optional Beyal

    Meals: B / L / D Overnight: Fairy Meadows cabin
    • Morning: Sunrise on the Nanga face from meadow viewpoints (weather dependent).
    • Optional Beyal: Guided walk toward Beyal Camp for closer glacier / ice-wall drama (approx. 2–3 hrs round-trip extra — skip if weather, fatigue, or preference says rest).
    • Afternoon: Lazy pine time, photography, or short meadow loops; lunch at cabin.
    • Evening: Dinner; pack for descend tomorrow; confirm jeep timing for Tato → Raikot.
  • Day 4

Descend Fairy Meadows · Jeep out · Toward Islamabad

    Meals: B / L / D Overnight: Islamabad (or mid-way hotel if timing requires)
    • Morning: Hike down Fairy Meadows → Tato (approx. 2–3 hrs descending).
    • Jeep: Tato → Raikot Bridge; reconnect with private vehicle.
    • Afternoon / evening: Drive toward Islamabad (long day — packed or restaurant lunch). If start is late, we overnight mid-way and shift Day 5 buffer.
    • Arrival: Islamabad hotel check-in when timing allows; dinner; confirm outbound flight.
  • Day 5

Buffer morning · ISB takeoff / onward

    Meals: B / L* Overnight: — (trip ends)
